Blue Tweed Log cabin squares

Feeling thrifty this week as it's Lent, so I started to make log cabin squares using up my basket of scraps.

The red square represents the fire in the hearth of the log cabin
as seen by the bird looking down the chimney. It really sings out of the blue and grey.

I made 8 squares from a basket of scraps, very satisfying.
Now thinking about what to do with them.
