Isles pebbles cushions

Soft browns,oatmeal and peach tones in Harris Tweed make these cushions very distinctive. 

They have zipped openings and a plain cream backing.

 These cushions have such a soft, muted look to them ,
they remind me of pebbles on the beach.

at the end of March!

Blue Log Cabin Cushion

So I couldn't decide between cushion or quilt
but I love the denim blue tweed from Norman Mackenzie's weaving shed
so made one of the squares up into a cushion. 

Now I have seven squares left to play with. So plenty of work for next week!

How satisfying to see something beautiful created from a basket of scraps.
 A good end to a busy week.
