Soft blue and brown cushions

These cushions have such a soft, muted look to them ,
they remind me of pebbles on the beach.

Or maybe a snowy scene looking down on Loch Lomond
at the end of March!

Blue and red tweed and liberty tote bag

A variation on the tote bag theme, this time with red herringbone tweed
and dark blue striped panels.
I added this fresh red and blue Liberty cotton lining which makes a
strong contrast with the herringbone. The blue Leatherette straps
make it that little bit different.

Lovat herringbone tweed

Loved this scene of the old stone wall and found the same colours in this new piece of lovat herringbone tweed which came today straight from Tarbet, Harris.

Spring Tweed Tote bag

Inspired by these warm spring days, I sewed up this smart Tweed tote bag today and am really pleased with the result. Added soft leatherette to the straps which gives it a very smart look.

A closer look at the lovely heart lining and the straps. Cost - £40. You can request other colour combinations too. Red or blue would look equally smart!

Snowdrops in full bloom along the Kelvin walkway cheering my heart  today.

Liberty and Tweed tote bag

A beautiful combination of  deep purple and  lilac herringbone Harris Tweed with a Liberty floral lining. The bag has soft leatherette straps and a front pocket as well as an inner pocket for mobile phones, keys etc.
£40.

Little Birds Market at Slaons, Glasgow 10th March

Everything packed up and ready to go.
It's snowing outside and bitterly cold but we're dashing around and excited
.
Framed by the wall hanging, we fill the table with goodies. Dom is a great help and sits sewing up the Stanley dogs

The blue log cabin cushions attract a lot of interest. I get to talk to some interesting people about Harris, tweed and the Outer Hebrides
Looking forward to the next one and hoping that the weather will be better.
